The Future of Nursing Affects You!

Following the release of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) Report, The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advocating Health in late 2010, a group of nurse leaders convened a statewide summit of leaders in healthcare, business and policy to respond to the national IOM Report and identify the four most critical areas for transforming nursing in North Carolina to better meet the needs of our state. The Coalition became the framework for our addressing the priorities for action. We invite all interested individuals and organizations to join us in this journey to improve the health of our state.
